Job Description

Role Overview: The Group Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing the hotel's digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility, drive revenue, and enhance the brand's digital presence. This role leads all digital marketing efforts, including social media, paid advertising campaigns, website content management, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Performance

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee and analyze the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget effectively, ensuring a high return on investment (ROI) on paid campaigns.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to management on digital marketing performance.

Social Media & Content

  • Lead the planning and execution of social media strategies for all hotel platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Oversee the creation and scheduling of engaging, high-quality digital content, including photos, videos, and graphics.
  • Manage social media community engagement and customer interactions to build brand loyalty.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to keep the brand's presence current and effective.

Paid Advertising

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and other relevant digital channels.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to improve campaign performance and conversion rates.
  • Manage keyword research, ad copy creation, and audience targeting for paid search and social campaigns.

Website Management & SEO

  • Maintain and update content on the hotel's official websites, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Optimize website content and structure for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve organic search rankings.
  • Work with IT and web developers to resolve technical issues and enhance the user experience on websites.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals and content creators.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing & PR, F&B, and Rooms teams to support promotions and events with digital activations.
  • Liaise with external digital marketing agencies or vendors as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 35 years of proven experience in digital marketing, with at least 12 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Extensive experience managing social media platforms, content creation, and paid advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, website management, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
