What You'll Do
- Strategic Case Management & Advisory
Act as the expert counsel for Subsidiary HR teams. You will proactively review high-risk disciplinary cases and termination proposals before execution, ensuring evidence is robust and decisions are defensible.
Calibrate case outcomes across the Group to ensure fairness, guaranteeing that a behavioral standard applied to a Staff member in one entity is equally applied to a Manager in another.
- Policy Governance & Architecture
Own and maintain the Group Employee Handbook and ER Policies (Code of Conduct, Discipline, Grievance), serving as the single source of truth.
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure that all HR policiesfrom Leave Benefits to Overtime rulesare not only legally compliant but also culturally aligned and easily understood by the workforce.
- Positive Dialogue & Engagement
Co-design and deploy mechanisms for direct employee feedback (e.g., Town Halls, Digital Pulse Channels, Skip-Level Meetings) to ensure voices are heard without intermediaries.
Transform statutory Welfare Committees from compliance formalities into genuine consultative partners that identify and solve workforce issues before they escalate.
- Investigations & Risk Management
Personally lead sensitive, high-stakes inquiries (Whistleblowing, Fraud, Executive Misconduct) with absolute discretion, objectivity, and forensic rigor.
Partner closely with Group Legal to manage potential labor disputes, aiming for zero preventable losses in Labor Court through meticulous preparation and risk assessment.
Train Line Managers and HR team on Case Management Best Practices, equipping them with the skills to document performance issues effectively and conduct hearings that are fair, legal, and dignified.
What you will bring
- A Bachelor's Degree in Law, Human Resources Management, Political Science, or Psychology
- 8+ years in Employee Relations or HR Business Partnering with a heavy ER focus. You must have a track record of managing complex cases in a large, matrixed organization
- Deep expertise in managing complex disciplinary cases with a focus on due process. You ensure that every stageinvestigation, evidence review, and hearingis impeccably documented to support defensible outcomes.
- Proven ability to draft and harmonize Group-wide policies that balance strict legal compliance with clear, accessible language. You know how to translate complex labor regulations into practical rules that employees can easily understand and follow
- Mastery of advanced interviewing techniques and evidence management. You possess the discernment to cut through noise and emotion to isolate the objective facts needed for a fair conclusion
- Deep, up-to-date knowledge of the Thailand Labor Protection Act, related law & regulations and relevant court precedents
