Group Leader, Investment & Asset Management - Korean Speaker

The Group Leader, Investment & Asset Management - Korean Speaker role oversees the full lifecycle of real estate investments across logistics, data centres, and related asset classes. Requiring strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English, the position leads acquisition, development, financing, and portfolio execution while working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive successful investment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate developable land and investment opportunities

• Assess licensing requirements and conduct business feasibility reviews

• Structure transactions and engage with authorities on acquisition frameworks

• Lead due diligence and investment decision-making processes

• Develop and maintain financial models and investment analyses

• Coordinate with external stakeholders to resolve licensing and project-related issues

• Manage risks, including regulatory, compliance, and stakeholder challenges

• Lead project execution meetings across the design, pre-construction, and delivery stages

• Collaborate with internal teams across construction, legal, and finance functions

• Oversee fund setup, cost control, and portfolio performance tracking

• Coordinate financing processes and maintain relationships with lenders

• Support investment approvals, including target return setting and governance

• Manage budgets across various capital sources

• Prepare investor reports and support ongoing investor communications

• Review and understand complex contracts, including leasing, construction, and loan agreements, as well as fund structures

• Monitor market conditions and optimise strategies to maintain profitability

• Manage counterparty risks, including regulatory and tax considerations

• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate, investment, consulting, investment banking, or related fields

• Strong track record in deal execution and investment lifecycle management

• Experience in fundraising and investor relationship management

• Ability to assess feasibility and provide strategic investment direction

• Expertise in investment structuring and ownership frameworks

• Experience engaging with regulatory authorities and managing approvals

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English
