Group Strategy and Transformation
Objectives of the role
- Support and drive Thai Union's corporate strategy and strategic planning processes
- Serve as a thought partner and program manager to leadership and operating companies
- Lead transformation and performance improvement initiatives to deliver measurable business outcomes
- Drive alignment and execution of Group, BU, and Functional strategies, embedding execution rigor, KPIs, and change management
Role and responsibilities
Overall
- Lead and deliver strategic initiatives that advance Thai Union Group's enterprise objectives and financial and non-financial commitments
- Translate data, analysis, and external insights into clear strategic recommendations and executable action plans
- Independently manage high-priority, complex workstreams, making sound decisions and delivering measurable outcomes
- Build strong working relationships and act as a trusted thought partner to Group leadership, operating companies, and key stakeholders
Group-level Strategy
- Support the development and execution of Thai Union's Group strategy (2030), strategic priorities (organic and inorganic), and long-term plans, bringing an outside-in perspective to challenge the status quo
- Coordinate, engage, and influence BU / Function leaders and key stakeholders to drive alignment on Group strategic direction and priorities
- Develop and deliver management materials and dashboards (e.g., leadership updates, initiative progress tracking, risk, and mitigation reporting)
BU / Corporate Function-level strategic planning and execution
- Partner with BU and Corporate Function teams to support strategy setting, performance dialogue, and identification of growth and improvement opportunities aligned with Group strategy
- Ensure regular coordination on strategic initiatives and KPIs, supporting cross-functional execution and issue resolution
- Collaborate with third-party service providers (e.g., consultants, external advisors), overseeing scope, deliverables, timelines, as needed
Transformation and implementation
- Support the design and delivery of transformation roadmaps, timelines, and KPIs to translate strategy into execution
- Facilitate implementation of Group-wide and BU / Function initiatives to improve commercial and operational performance, identifying risks and deviations from targets
- Support and drive change management activities to ensure adoption of new processes and ways of working
Candidate requirements
- 6+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or related roles - relevant industry experience is preferred but not required; management consulting experience is a strong advantage
- Bachelor's / master's degree from a top-tier university
- Strong strategic thinking, structured problem-solving, and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Solid commercial acumen and understanding of key business and financial drivers
- Proven ability to independently manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliver results in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate with, influence, and manage differing viewpoints across senior internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging at multiple levels of the organization (English required, Thai language preferred)
- Self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a strong learning and continuous improvement orientation
