Senior Growth Marketing Manager
(On-Site, Chiang Mai, Thailand)
Iron Software is looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to own our growth strategy and help determine where the next stage of company growth will come from.
This is not a role focused on managing one marketing channel. You will look across traffic, demand generation, content, conversion, lifecycle, partnerships, outbound, AEO and the sales funnel to identify where the biggest opportunities exist and then lead the work required to capture them.
Iron Software already has specialists across SEO, content, web development, CRO, design, data and marketing operations. Your job is to make those capabilities work together around clear commercial priorities.
You will be expected to ask questions such as:
Where should our next $1 million in revenue come from
You will then turn those answers into strategy, projects, campaigns and measurable results.
What You Will Own (Growth Strategy & Demand Generation)
Own the overall demand generation and growth marketing strategy for Iron Software.
Identify opportunities to generate more qualified traffic, trials, leads, sales opportunities and revenue.
Develop strategies across inbound, outbound, account-based marketing, partnerships, lifecycle marketing, paid acquisition, webinars, campaigns and new channels.
Continuously look for growth opportunities rather than waiting for projects to be assigned.
Build clear hypotheses, test them and use the results to determine where we invest next.
Funnel & Conversion
Understand the complete customer journey from first visit through trial, sales engagement and purchase.
Identify where potential customers are dropping out of the funnel and develop projects to improve those conversion points.
Work closely with our CRO, web, data and sales teams to improve:
Own experimentation across landing pages, messaging, CTAs, offers, campaigns and customer journeys.
Traffic, SEO & AEO
Develop the strategy for increasing qualified, commercially valuable traffic, not simply traffic volume.
Work closely with our SEO Manager while also identifying opportunities to diversify Iron Software's acquisition beyond organic search.
Own the broader strategy for how Iron Software is discovered across traditional search and AI-driven search experiences, including AEO and generative search visibility.
Assess how our content, website structure, technical information, brand authority and external presence affect whether Iron Software is surfaced and referenced by search engines, AI assistants and other discovery platforms.
Assess performance across SEO, AEO, paid search, content, referral traffic, partnerships, affiliates, email, social, outbound and emerging channels.
Determine where additional investment is likely to produce the greatest return.
Content Strategy & Quality
Own the strategic direction of Iron Software's content.
Iron Software produces a significant amount of technical and marketing content. Your responsibility is not simply to produce more of it.
You will determine:
You should be capable of reviewing a landing page, campaign, white paper, email or article and identifying how it could be made more persuasive and commercially effective.
You do not need to be the team's primary copywriter, but you must have strong judgment about messaging and content quality and be able to set a high standard for others.
Sales & Marketing Growth
Work closely with Sales rather than treating Marketing and Sales as separate functions.
Use CRM data, customer behaviour, market data and external research to identify companies and audiences with a high likelihood of purchasing Iron Software.
Help develop ICPs, account segments, propositions and messaging for different customer groups.
Support account-based marketing and outbound initiatives where there is a strong commercial opportunity.
Work with Sales to understand why customers buy, why opportunities are lost, what competitors are appearing in deals and where Marketing can materially influence revenue.
Data & Commercial Performance
Use data to decide what the team should do next.
Establish and monitor meaningful growth metrics including:
Be comfortable questioning existing metrics and introducing better ones.
We are less interested in reporting activity than understanding what is actually causing growth.
Complex Project Management
Turn growth opportunities into well-defined, commercially focused projects.
This role will often lead complex initiatives involving multiple teams, competing priorities, dependencies and stakeholders.
You will be responsible for holding together the overall strategy while making sure the individual parts move forward.
For major projects, define and manage:
Coordinate work across Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering and external partners.
Create clarity when several teams are contributing to the same outcome, ensuring everyone understands their role, dependencies and KPIs.
Monitor progress against agreed targets, identify blockers early and intervene when projects are falling behind or failing to produce the expected outcome.
Keep multiple initiatives moving while remaining disciplined about prioritising the work with the greatest potential impact.
Team Management & Leadership
Manage and develop members of the marketing team.
Set clear priorities, responsibilities, KPIs and expectations.
Ensure individual and team activity connects directly to broader marketing and company growth objectives.
Give direct, useful feedback and help people understand what excellent work looks like.
Develop team members so they increasingly take ownership, make better decisions and contribute beyond their immediate specialty.
Hold people accountable for agreed outcomes while helping remove blockers and providing the support they need to perform.
Create an environment where people are encouraged to question assumptions, test ideas, learn new skills and improve their work.
We want someone who develops growth-minded marketers, not people who simply complete tasks.
What We're Looking For:
You will likely have significant experience in B2B technology, SaaS, developer tools or another digitally led business.
You should have demonstrated experience owning growth or demand generation initiatives that produced measurable commercial outcomes.
We are particularly interested in someone who can show examples of improving metrics such as conversion, pipeline, revenue, CAC, win rate or sales-cycle length.
You should also be able to demonstrate:
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who combines strategy with execution.
You should be comfortable stepping back and determining what Iron Software should do next, but equally willing to get into a campaign, CRM report, landing page, customer segment or piece of content when that's what is required to make the strategy work.
What Success Looks Like
Within this role, we expect you to make Iron Software's growth engine increasingly measurable, diversified and commercially effective.
You will help us rely less heavily on any single acquisition channel, improve how traffic converts into revenue, strengthen our visibility across traditional and AI-driven search, increase the contribution Marketing makes to Sales, raise the quality and commercial value of our content, and identify new sources of demand.
You will also ensure that major growth projects involving multiple teams have clear ownership, aligned KPIs and strong execution from strategy through to measurable outcome.
Ultimately, success is not measured by how much marketing activity we produce.
It is measured by whether Iron Software grows because of the decisions you make, the team you lead and the projects you deliver.
