Position Overview
This role is responsible for driving the growth of Bayer Consumer Health brands. The portfolio includes brands such as Berocca, Canesten, Bepanthen, and other Consumer Health brands
Identifies, evaluates, and negotiates new sales and marketing growth opportunities across various areas, including commercial and pricing strategy, sales channel strategy, and new product development. Develops optimal revenue models and distribution channels while creating pricing strategies that align with market demands.
Engages in identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships, including financial arrangements and intellectual property rights. Prioritizes and tracks investments in new product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. In some cases, manages the integration of new business ideas and acquisitions to drive overall growth and enhance market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team and specific area.
- Enhance sales team morale and capability at a high level.
- Design and implement a strategic business Plan (Medical Channel) that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Manage MC activity and implement sales strategy.
- Develop, manage, and execute enlisting-related issues.
- Monitor sales effectiveness, drive performance, and motivate the sales team to deliver business objectives.
- Arrange sales activities in high-potential and strategic accounts.
- Manage the Sales Team budget.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs.
- Closely collaborate with SFE from the DKSH site to develop effective customer call plans and market visit plans for the sales team.
- Engage and manage key stakeholders, including doctors in hospitals, key prescribers, and KOLs.
- Supervise sales plans and performance reports and provide realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while staying fully aware of new products and competitive activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a medical-related field. A Master's degree in Business or an MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical business.
- Experience in tender and enlisting management.
- Experience in sales team management.
- Excellent mentoring and coaching skills.
- Strong communication skills with colleagues, subordinates, and customers.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize current data.
- Experience in customer engagement and KOL development.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Ability to solve problems and lead the sales team under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
