Job Description
- Lead financial management, governance, and reporting activities across the APAC region.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports in compliance with local accounting standards and IFRS.
- Ensure consistency and compliance of profit and loss reporting, balance sheet management, and corporate accounting policies.
- Manage annual audit processes and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely statutory reporting.
- Drive tax compliance, year-end closing activities, and implementation of corporate financial guidelines.
- Monitor regulatory, tax, and compliance risks while developing mitigation strategies across regional operations.
- Support enterprise risk assessments and strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Provide expert guidance on local regulatory requirements and financial compliance standards across APAC markets.
- Manage working capital, capital expenditure planning, and investment performance in alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain effective relationships with banking institutions and treasury stakeholders.
- Ensure finance organizational structures and processes support operational efficiency and future growth.
- Deliver meaningful financial insights and analysis to support executive and regional leadership decision-making.
- Oversee shared service finance operations across selected APAC locations and drive process improvements.
- Support regional business expansion initiatives, including finance transformation, cost optimization, and profitability improvement projects.
- Lead, coach, and develop regional finance teams while fostering collaboration and high performance.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is required.
- Extensive experience in accounting, audit, financial controlling, reporting, and regional finance leadership within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, treasury, internal controls, corporate governance, and multi-country financial operations.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), financial reporting tools, and leading diverse teams across the Asia-Pacific region.
