Key Responsibilities;
1. Agentic AI Strategy & Leadership
- Define and own the Agentic AI roadmap aligned with Ascend Money's vision to be the customer's financial companion.
- Lead the design and development of AI agents and co-pilots that enhance customer engagement, financial guidance, fraud detection, and personalization.
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of AI engineers, data scientists, and product designers.
- Establish and track KPIs for AI adoption, accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
2. AI System Design & Architecture
- Oversee the architecture of multi-agent orchestration frameworks, integrating LLMs, recommendation systems, and reinforcement-learning models.
- Ensure AI systems follow safety, explain ability, and data-governance principles in collaboration with Risk and Compliance teams.
- Drive the evolution of internal AI infrastructure that supports enterprise-grade scalability, observability, and reliability.
3. Customer-Centric Financial Intelligence
- Embed AI understanding of customer behaviors across spend, save, and borrow journeys.
- Develop personalized financial companions that anticipate intent, provide contextual advice, and guide customers toward better financial outcomes.
- Ensure AI-driven experiences strengthen trust, convenience, and customer satisfaction across Ascend Money's ecosystem.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Risk, Fraud, Operations, and Data teams to embed AI across end-to-end customer journeys.
- Partner internally to integrate AI into service automation, customer engagement, fraud prevention, and financial insight products.
- Champion an AI-first culture across Ascend Money by promoting experimentation, ethical use, and measurable business impact.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Behavioral Economics, or related field
- 10+ years in AI/ML, data product, or intelligent-system design; proven success leading AI assistants, multi-agent, or personalization platforms; experience in fintech, digital banking, or consumer technology environments
- Deep understanding of LLM orchestration, RAG, multi-agent systems, and recommendation engines; strong knowledge of AI safety, explainable AI, data privacy, and MLOps; hands-on with LangChain, AutoGen, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or similar frameworks
- Leadership Skills and Strategic thinker with strong execution capability; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to inspire, mentor, and scale high-performing technical teams
