About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary Head of AI to lead the integration of artificial intelligence across our business units. This role involves enhancing productivity through AI-driven solutions, prioritization of use cases, centralizing AI procurement to optimize performance and costs, and ensuring robust AI governance
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute AI strategy aligned with company priorities.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases across all business units to maximize business value, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Provide senior-level guidance on AI/ML technologies, GenAI, automation, and advanced analytics to managements and business leaders.
- Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutionsfrom use case scouting, PoC, pilot, deployment, scaling, to benefit realization.
- Establish and oversee AI Governance i.e., Responsible AI, model risk management, compliance (PDPA, copyright, safety), and internal policy adoption.
- Act as the gatekeeper for AI technologies, including approval of AI-related software, licenses, and enterprise AI tools.
- Drive capability-building across the organization i.e., training/literacy programs with People team, tech practice with Digital Tech/Data teams.
- Manage AI budget, vendor selection, and center-led AI investments; track benefits and ensure ROI.
- Build and lead a high-performing AI team, including project managers, engineering, and governance roles.
Qualifications:
- At least seven years in Data/AI, ML engineering, AI product development, or related roles; experience leading enterprise AI initiatives preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related field; master's degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, GenAI models, LLM orchestration, vector search, automation, and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional programs and influencing stakeholders across both technical and business functions.
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate AI opportunities into business value.
- Excellent communication (Thai/English) with ability to simplify complex AI concepts for non-technical users.
- Experience with AI governance, risk management, PDPA, copyright/IP concerns, and model safety frameworks is a strong advantage.
