Head of AI Strategic & Commercial

Job Summary

The role of AI Strategic & Commercial Lead involves responsibility for Leads enterprise-wide AI strategy execution and BU coordination. This person will be expected to work cross-functionally with relevant business units and technical teams. They must ensure that execution aligns with overall AI strategy, compliance requirements, and business goals. The role demands deep subject-matter expertise, strong coordination skills, and the ability to deliver scalable impact. In addition to delivery excellence, they must support governance, knowledge sharing, and long-term transformation success

Key Responsibilities:

(The position is equivalent to Senior Vice President (SVP) level)

• Define and execute AI strategy across business units.
• Lead strategic planning and prioritization of AI use cases.
• Collaborate with business units and technical teams.
• Establish governance and reporting frameworks for AI programs.
• Monitor performance and value realization of AI initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or certifications in AI/ML strategy preferred.
• Minimum 1215 years of experience in strategy, technology, or commercial leadership roles.
• Experience in large-scale transformation programs and cross-BU coordination preferred.
• Leadership and strategic thinking.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of AI strategy and business value creation.
• Problem-solving and decision-making under complexity.
• Ability to drive innovation and manage cross-functional teams.
