Job Description
- The Head of Data & Intelligent Insight leads Adapter's transformation into a data-intelligent, foresight-driven organization. You will architect the complete intelligence ecosystem—analytics, measurement, first-party data, AI-powered research, and prediction models—turning fragmented signals into continuous, actionable, growth-driving insight for our clients and internal teams.
This role is both
strategic and operational: part data strategist, part measurement architect, part cultural decoder, and part business partner to C-Suite and brand leaders
Responsibilities
Strategic & Adaptive Intelligence Leadership:
- Build and own the Intelligent Insight North Star aligned with Adapter's FUTURE-READY model.
- Develop an Adaptive Analytics & Foresight Framework that combines:
- Culture & Social Signals
- Commerce & Performance Data
- First-Party Data (Chang ID, AP Living Quality ID, Srichand, etc.)
- Equity-Driven Brand Intelligence (FRMU, Brand OS)
- Translate data into predictive foresight that guides brand growth, creative strategy, and media investment.Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with business objectives. Set KPIs, define reporting standards, and ensure the organization leverages data effectively.
Data Strategy, Measurement, & Governance Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Architect an integrated data ecosystem across:
- CDP / first-party data
- Social intelligence
- Performance marketing data
- Brand tracking & attitudinal research
- Create measurement standards, KPIs, scorecards, and attribution logic (Brand Commerce Content).
- Establish strong data governance, quality standards, and taxonomy for all teams.
AI-Powered Research & Insight Innovation
- Lead the creation of AI-driven insight systems:
- Automated brand lift prediction
- Conversational research models
- Creative intelligence & content scoring
- Social trend mining using LLM-powered clustering
- Push continuous innovation through experimentation with GenAI, Agentic AI, and predictive modelling.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and mentor an Insight Intelligence team: data analysts, research strategists, social analysts, and data engineers (internal/partner).
- Create a high-performance, curiosity-driven culture that blends analytics precision with creative interpretation.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with Strategy, Creative, Social, Media, Growth, and Client Business Leads.
- Bring data into every stage of the process: diagnose design deploy optimize.
- Work with senior clients (CMOs, Brand Directors, CEOs) as a trusted advisor on:
- growth strategy
- brand equity
- audience intelligence
- measurement frameworks
- portfolio optimization
Insight Activation & Storytelling
- Turn complex data into simple, powerful narratives and strategic recommendations.
- Build dashboards, POVs, and intelligence reports that unlock:
- Brand Growth Loops
- Content effectiveness
- Consumer motivations & cultural tensions
- Social-commerce opportunities
- Present data in a way that inspires action, alignment, and decision-making.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in analytics, data strategy, research, or intelligence roles (agency, consulting, tech, platform).
- Deep understanding of marketing analytics, brand measurement, consumer insight, performance data, social intelligence, and first-party data ecosystems.
- Strong experience with:
- Data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau)
- CDP / Analytics platforms
- SQL / Python (a plus)
- AI tools for research & analysis
- Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional insight teams.
