SVP - Business Audit
- Lead the development of the annual risk-based audit plan, identifying key risks across retail and institutional banking units.
- Supervise execution of audits in accordance with internal audit methodology and professional standards.
- Ensure high-quality, value-driven audit engagements that address business, operational, compliance, and regulatory risks.
- Provide oversight on audit reports to ensure clear articulation of issues, root causes, and practical recommendations.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on audit findings and risk mitigation strategies.
- Review and approve audit scopes, working papers, and reports.
- Oversee the preparation of materials for Audit Committee meetings and Group-level reports.
- Track and monitor the status of audit issues and management action plans.
- Serve as an observer and risk advisor in strategic projects and business transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT Audit and Group Internal Audit to support integrated and thematic audits.
- Lead, mentor, and develop audit team members to maintain a high-performance internal audit function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of internal audit or banking experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of banking operations, risk management, and regulatory requirements (BOT, SEC, OIC).
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
