Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue Recognition, cash flow management and other controller duties
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, regulatory reporting, and financial statements
- Monitor researching technical accounting issues for compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end close process to ensure and develop quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a financial controller
- 7-10 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience (prefer retail business)
- Minimum 3-5 years of team management experience
- Advanced degree in Accounting or related
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
