About the Role
As the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for leading and executing KuCoin Thailand's business development strategy. This includes institutional partnerships, corporate accounts, market expansion, and ecosystem development. You will manage a BD team, drive revenue growth, and serve as the key external face for KuCoin TH's commercial activities.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the BD strategy to grow market share, trading volume, and client base in Thailand.
- Identify, acquire, and manage relationships with institutional clients, corporate partners, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Negotiate and close strategic partnerships with financial institutions, custodians, asset managers, and fintech platforms.
- Work closely with Product, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Represent KuCoin at industry events, conferences, and regulator-facing forums, enhancing brand visibility.
- Lead, coach, and expand the BD team; build a high-performance sales culture.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to inform business strategy.
- Provide regular pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 710+ years of experience in business development, institutional sales, or corporate partnerships within crypto, fintech, banking, or investment management.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing complex institutional relationships.
- Strong knowledge of digital assets and the Thai financial/crypto regulatory landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills in Thai and English.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Existing network with institutions, family offices, and corporate clients in Thailand is a strong plus.
