Job Description

Position: Head of Business Development (Sports Club)

Our client are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Head of Business Development to lead sales strategy and drive revenue growth for our sports club. This role focuses on developing innovative programs, maximizing facility utilization, and building strong partnerships across key customer segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the client base
  • Design and package sports programs and offerings, including: Sports camps, Sporting events and tournaments
  • Facility usage (e.g., courts, fitness center, swimming pool, etc.)
  • Identify and develop business opportunities with target segments, including: Corporate clients, International schools, Sports teams and training camps
  • Wellness and fitness-focused customers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and partnerships
  • Conduct market research and identify new revenue streams
  • Own and manage P&L for programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Marketing teams to ensure successful execution of programs

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Strategic roles (sports, fitness, or lifestyle industries preferred)
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Financial mindset with experience managing budgets, costs, and P&L
  • Experience working with corporate clients, international schools, or sports organizations
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling programs and packages
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
