Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Business Unit to lead the overall commercial strategy and business performance for a high-growth consumer business. This executive role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, maximizing profitability, leading cross-functional commercial teams, and shaping long-term business strategy across multiple sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy to drive sustainable business growth and profitability
  • Own the full P&L, including revenue, pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and commercial investments
  • Lead sales, marketing, category, and commercial planning to maximize market performance
  • Drive business expansion through effective go-to-market strategies, portfolio management, and channel development
  • Build strategic relationships with key customers, business partners, and external stakeholders
  • Identify new market opportunities through customer insights, market analysis, and competitive intelligence
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, finance, and product teams to optimize business performance
  • Lead annual business planning, demand forecasting, and commercial performance reviews
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial organization while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Present business performance and strategic recommendations to executive leadership

Requirements

  • 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within FMCG, consumer goods, food, or related industries
  • Proven experience leading multifunctional commercial teams with full P&L ownership
  • Strong track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion
  • Extensive experience in commercial strategy, key account management, channel development, and business planning
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to translate market insights into business strategy
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English
