Role Description
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive, strategic Head of Operations (Collections) to oversee and drive our collections operations at the country level. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end collections strategy, optimizing operational performance, ensuring compliance, and delivering strong portfolio results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead overall collections operations to ensure targets are consistently achieved
- Develop and execute country-level collections strategies to maximize recovery and minimize losses
- Monitor portfolio performance and drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization through data-driven initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to enhance overall collections effectiveness
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Establish KPIs, track performance, and provide regular reporting to senior management
- Manage external vendors and collection agencies, including performance monitoring and optimization
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, including succession planning for key leadership roles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in collections, debt management, or credit operations, with proven experience in a Head of Operations or similar leadership role, preferably within the asset management industry, financial services industry or collection agencies
- Proven track record of leading large-scale collections operations and consistently delivering strong performance outcomes
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and operational best practices, with solid understanding of business functions and data analytics
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities, with experience managing managers and building high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and effectively tailor messages to different audiences
- Good command of both Thai and English
