Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall compliance framework for the insurance business, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and other relevant authorities.
- Establish, review, and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks to ensure robust risk mitigation across all business units.
- Drive compliance risk assessments, monitoring, thematic reviews, and internal investigations to proactively identify potential compliance gaps.
- Track regulatory developments and update internal policies to ensure alignment with new laws and regulations that may affect the company's strategic objectives.
- Provide expert guidance and advisory support on legal and regulatory matters to internal departments.
- Promote and implement compliance best practices and regulatory standards throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, or related fields.
- Minimum 10+ years of compliance experience in insurance, securities, banking, asset management, or other regulated financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of regulations, market conduct standards, and financial regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in leading compliance functions, designing control frameworks, and managing regulatory relationships.
- Strong leadership capability with strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and strong commitment to ethical, compliant, and transparent business practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret regulations and translate them into practical business guidance.
- English Proficiency.
