Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Follow up, check, plan, and provide consultation for department managers and section heads responsible for all new construction projects and branch renovation projects.
  2. Set operational guidelines and set quality standards and targets for control team and contractors to follow.
  3. Check the quantity and the cost of each project work.
  4. Check and follow up the making of contracting agreements.
  5. Check the use of budgets for construction project.
  6. Report the progress, operational problems, and solution approaches to supervisor.
  7. Set guidelines in preparing standard operation manuals and quality control standards to ensure the quality of work.
  8. Carry out the work assigned by department director.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in construction, project management, cost and budget control, and design within retail, building, or real estate sectors.
  3. Ability to travel and work outside the province on occasion.
  4. Strong foundation in engineering, construction methods, project management, and design coordination, with full accountability for cost and timeline.
  5. Solid experience in cost control, quantity surveying, and a good understanding of legal and contractual frameworks.
  6. Proven leadership, strong analytical and decision-making skills, effective negotiation, and problem-solving capability.
  7. Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required
