Job Summary
Head of Core Banking Solution to lead the strategy, modernization roadmap, and endtoend management of our Core Banking platform within a vendormanaged services model, ensuring the system remains secure, stable, scalable, and fully compliant with business and regulatory requirements while overseeing internal engineering teams, driving vendor performance, and advancing continuous improvement, system integration, operational excellence, and longterm platform evolution.
Job Description
- Define and execute the Core Banking technology strategy and modernization roadmap while providing leadership in platform architecture, configuration, upgrades, and solution enhancements.
- Prioritize and manage enhancement requests, regulatory updates, and system improvements while leading impact assessments, requirements analysis, and solution design reviews to ensure quality and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Lead service reviews, escalation processes, and steering meetings while ensuring vendordelivered solutions comply with regulatory, security, and architectural requirements.
- Supervise integration between the Core Banking platform and enterprise systems while ensuring data consistency, transaction accuracy, and efficient endtoend interoperability.
- Strengthen platform security, access control, and regulatory compliance while improving system performance, stability, monitoring visibility, and overall resilience.
- Lead Core Banking initiatives including upgrades, regulatory changes, platform transformation, and major enhancement projects while ensuring strong DR/BCP readiness across all environments.
- Ensure alignment and coordination across business units, operations, risk, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in area Core Banking Systems, deposit, Lending with at least 5 years in leadership/management roles.
- Proven track record in delivering enterprise-scale software or digital banking platforms.
- Strong background in Core Banking modernization or microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of IT security, operational controls, and regulatory compliance in the banking industry.
- Hands on experience with enterprise IT standards, architecture frameworks, and large scale system delivery.
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate business needs into technical direction.
- Excellent team leadership, coaching, mentoring, and conflict management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage complex challenges and deliver actionable solutions.
