Lead and oversee Costing, Budget spending control, and excise tax management for the group Company by partnering closely with business units to provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial information. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, financial analysis, and governance, ensuring strong financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key responsible
1.) Costing & Month end Closing
- Lead end-to-end costing, including standard cost, allocation, and variance analysis, and oversee monthly cost book closing, inventory valuation, COGS, and margin analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
2.) Control, Compliance and Excise Tax
- Ensure strong Budget control, regulatory compliance, and excise tax management, while maintaining audit readiness.
3.) Financial Planning, Analysis
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, including business case evaluation to support decision-making, while acting as a business partner to improve performance and lead cost-saving initiatives
4.) Process Improvement & Team Leadership
- Drive new system, tools and process improvements and lead the development of the costing and finance team.
5.) Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, costing, and financial control roles
- Experience in costing within manufacturing or FMCG companies is highly preferred
- Proven experience in managerial or leadership positions
- Strong track record in business partnering, internal controls, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across the organization
