About this job

As the Head of Creative, you will lead the creative vision across both Chinese and Global platforms, ensuring that every idea, campaign, and production reflects strategic clarity, strong storytelling, and high-quality execution. This role goes beyond creativity, you will architect creative strategy, guide a multidisciplinary team, and shape the team's output in short-form content, campaigns, and end-to-end production. You are the backbone of the creative department, transforming insights into concepts, concepts into production, and production into business impact.

In This Role, You'll Get To

  • Lead and Mentor a Full Creative Department: Drive the direction, workflow, and development of copywriters, designers, content creators, and production teams. Ensuring strong collaboration and a culture of high-performance and growth.
  • Set Creative & Strategic Direction for All Platforms: Develop creative strategies and content frameworks for Chinese platforms and global platforms to ensure relevance, consistency, and performance-driven storytelling.
  • Own the Full Creative Process: PreProPost: Direct ideation, conceptual development, script creation, production planning, shoot direction, editing oversight, and final delivery.
  • Ensuring every step meets creative and strategic objectives.
  • Create Breakthrough Short-Form Content Strategies: Understand what resonates with target audiences, especially in the short-video ecosystem, and lead the team to produce content that is culturally relevant, engaging, and high-performing.
  • Lead Client Conversations, Presentations, and Pitches: Collaborate directly with clients to translate business problems into creative solutions, pitch compelling ideas, and secure new opportunities for the agency.
  • Drive Creative Innovation & Evolve Agency Standards: Explore emerging trends,
  • creative technologies, and production techniques to keep the agency competitive, forward-thinking, and ahead of the market.
  • Ensure Creative Excellence Across Multiple Industries: Guide strategic and creative
  • solutions for clients across e-commerce, lifestyle, beauty, F&B, and more maintaining
  • consistency, quality, and measurable impact.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 510 years of experience in creative roles within digital agencies or production-focused environments.
  • Proven ability to build and lead a creative team, with strategic thinking and structured problem-solving.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating short-video content, campaign development, and innovative cross-platform ideas.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including how content performs, how audiences behave, and how to adapt creative ideas effectively across different formats.
  • Strong capability in creative strategy, turning insights into concepts and concepts into production-ready ideas.
  • End-to-end production experience across pre-production, live production, and post-production.
