Manage, Develop & implement processes and mechanisms for Credit and Lending Operations/Transaction Services, including, to align with the strategic direction of Credit and Capital Management as well as the regional & global framework of the Transaction Services comprised of the activities of Credit Service & Collateral Management and Issuer Services Operations.
Oversee the performance of processing teams, both onshore and offshore, and ensure tasks are executed in line with Service Level Agreements and all prevailing regulations with high quality, while strengthening operational disciplines and controls under the Operational Risk Management framework
Manage resources, work schedules and budgetary planning for the units
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and where applicable external stakeholders, including representing Operations and Servicing in meetings with stakeholders as required
Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and implement automation & digitalisation in the areas of Operations and Servicing
Provide management guidance and where appropriate ownership in change initiatives and assigned projects
Provide the required inputs into training and competence development to improve the quality of all managed business services, in line with increased regulatory compliance and reporting expectations
Effectively and efficiently maintain HSBC Internal Control standards, including risk mitigation, and timely implement action plans designed to address internal audit/assurance findings as well as any issues raised by external auditors/regulators
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any related fields
10 years of working experience in banking, finance or any related fields
Proven track record that can be demonstrated in managing multi workstreams and cross-organisational/ geographical business
Strong leadership skills with ability to provide direction to the team to achieve goals and objectives
Excellent planning, time management and resource management skills
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with business heads, senior management, stakeholders across the whole department and organisation
Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of regulatory trends and developments
Experience in project management or change programmes involving technology and operations
