DBot Software is a custom software and ecommerce development company with offices in Frankfurt and Bangkok. We serve clients in Thailand and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), building modern ecommerce platforms and AI-powered software solutions. Our edge: German engineering standards combined with the speed and depth of our Bangkok delivery team.
We're growing, taking on larger, more complex enterprise engagements, and we're looking for a Head of Delivery to lead how we execute.
The Role
You will own end-to-end delivery across client projects. Your mission: make sure we ship great work, on time, and that our team is performing at its best. You'll be based in our Bangkok office, working closely with the development team every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You're not watching from the sidelines, you're in the standups, reviewing the sprint boards, unblocking the team, and making sure our clients feel confident in our delivery. Equally important: you'll be a key voice in winning new business. Supporting proposals, joining client conversations, and helping shape how we present our capabilities is a core part of this role.
What You'll Do
- Own delivery outcomes across all active projects: timelines, quality, and client satisfaction
- Partner with sales and business development to support pre-sales activities: providing technical insight, contributing to proposals, leading discovery sessions, and helping convert leads into long-term clients
- Be a trusted point of contact for clients: proactive communication, clear updates, and the confidence that their project is in good hands
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team in Bangkok: hiring, coaching, performance management
- Establish and continuously improve delivery processes that drive quality, velocity, and transparency
- Run project health reviews and ensure early visibility into risks
- Work closely with our Project Management Office and Customer Success team to align delivery with client expectations
- Be present in the Bangkok office as the day-to-day engineering leader: this is not a remote role
- Foster a strong engineering culture where people grow, take ownership, and do their best work
- Ensure smooth project kickoffs and transitions from pre-sales to delivery
- Report directly to the CTO
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in a delivery or engineering leadership role
- Experience managing teams of 20+ developers in an agency or custom development environment
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies: you don't need to code daily, but you need to speak the language credibly
- Experience with ecommerce platforms is a strong plus
- Proven track record of improving delivery processes and team performance
- Experience working in international teams across cultures and time zones: this is essential, not a nice-to-have
- Previous working experience in Thailand is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a bonus
- Based in Bangkok or willing to relocate
