About The Role

Amidst the rich diversity of the SEAA markets, the newly established SEAA FBP organisation will become a catalyst for unlocking the full potential of Fragrance & Beauty in this region. Anchored in a deep understanding of local nuances and fueled by global ambition, we will elevate brand equity, accelerate high-value growth, and deliver the ultimate client experience at every touchpoint.

Working in close partnership with the FBP Division global and markets, the regional team will develop a bold strategic vision, paired with actionable and locally relevant roadmaps.

Reporting to the Director, Fragrance & Beauty Products SEAA, the Head of Distribution Strategy and Business Development is a key member of the FBP SEAA Leadership Team. This role is a strategic enabler of sustainable, scalable, and high-value growth — responsible for framing and steering distribution strategies, guiding market execution, and ensuring operational excellence across all offline channels.

This role serves as a regional orchestrator — providing strategic guidance, challenging the status quo, and aligning efforts across markets to ensure our distribution models are future-ready, locally resonant, and brand-elevating.

Impact You Can Create In The Role

Distribution Model Optimization & Evolution

  • Partner with the Director, FBP SEAA and markets to shape the regional Distribution & Retail Network Strategy Mid-Term Plan (MTP).
  • Define, challenge, and evolve SEAA's distribution strategy to ensure optimal model architecture for sustainable business impact.
  • Assess and enhance the effectiveness of offline channels — Stand-Alone Boutiques (SAB), Department Stores, and Travel Retail — ensuring alignment with FBP strategic priorities and brand equity.
  • Conduct strategic analyses and market studies to uncover opportunities, identify risks, and guide markets in optimizing their distribution footprint.
  • Infuse best practices, external insights, and innovation across the region to elevate commercial performance and strategic foresight.

Retail Performance & Operational Excellence

  • Harmonize and streamline operational processes across markets to ensure efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Define and share regional guidelines for retail projects and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with markets to improve door productivity, using shared KPIs and FBP Retail Segmentation methodology.
  • Partner with Retail Education to elevate frontline development, capabilities, and career progression.
  • Lead retail workforce productivity by leveraging performance KPIs and embedding tools and technologies that empower frontline excellence.

Strategic Partner in Global and Region Travel Retail Accounts.

  • Build and deepen strategic partnerships with regional travel retail stakeholders, staying ahead of industry trends, emerging consumer behaviors, and competitive dynamics.
  • Shape regional strategies that maximize both brand equity and commercial performance.
  • Drive travel retail growth by optimizing commercial frameworks and ensuring cross-market consistency while preserving local market ownership.
  • Foster a culture of shared accountability, agility, and long-term value creation across stakeholders.

Business Development & Governance

  • Ensure robust end-to-end execution of business case processes, enabling informed, data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance to deliver accurate, strategically aligned business case reviews and investment recommendations.
  • Define and lead the governance framework for new investment opportunities in coordination with markets and global teams.
  • Identify and validate untapped market opportunities, mapping high-potential geographies, and channels for strategic expansion.

  • Strong negotiation experience and skills
