Job Description

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the company's Finance & Accounting functions, covering AP, AR, GL, Tax, Fixed Assets, and financial operations.
  • Oversee end-to-end accounting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance with IFRS/GAAP, financial standards, and applicable regulatory requirements (including banking and insurance).
  • Manage daily, monthly, and annual financial reporting, including P&L statements, regulatory submissions, and reports to the Bank of Thailand and Head Office.
  • Lead monthly, semi-annual, and year-end financial closing cycles, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Drive annual budgeting, long-term planning, and financial forecasting to support strategic business decisions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve GL discrepancies; design and maintain GL structures for new products, services, or business lines.
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and risk management frameworks to ensure operational integrity.
  • Oversee bank payables, tax filings, and handle communications with tax authorities and external auditors.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and ensure proper depreciation policies and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs, improve financial workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Provide financial insights, business analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Requirements

  • 1012+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting within banking, life insurance, or related financial services.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial regulations, tax requirements, and industry-specific compliance.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working effectively with auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Good command of English.
