Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Establish and/or revisit the initial finance structure, policies, and processes. Able to identify business-related processes requiring improvement.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Oversee financial risk management, treasury, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
Financial Management & Operations
- Oversee financial performance, including profit management, cash flow, and taxation.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including P&L and balance sheet management.
- Lead and manage all aspects of accounting, financial controls, and audits.
- Supervise vendor and customer financial processes, including invoice verification and approvals.
- Review and approve accounting postings, expenditure requests (RFAs), and financial transactions.
- Oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of the SAP ERP financial system.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare and present financial reports to key stakeholders, including Kia Regional HQ and HQ.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Manage adhoc financial reporting, business case evaluations, and project assessments.
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Encourage continuous learning and skills enhancement among team members.
- Collaborate with the CFO on strategic initiatives and special projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Preferably CPA/MBA or equivalent qualifying
- At least 3 years of senior management in finance/accounting environment.
- Experience in automotive industry would be a plus
- Diverse experience involving accounting, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, etc.
- Fluent in English both verbal & and written communication skills
- Highly organized, time management, analytical skills
- Stakeholder management internally and externally
