Head of Finance
Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Suanluang
The Financial Controller is responsible for leading the company's finance and accounting functions, ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role drives financial planning, budgeting, reporting, risk management, and business performance while partnering with key stakeholders to support sustainable growth and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Develop financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), tax regulations, BOI requirements, and Transfer Pricing policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard business continuity and long-term financial stability.
Cost Management & Business Performance
- Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor manufacturing cost variances and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
- Conduct financial analysis and investment evaluations, including ROI, IRR, and payback analysis, to support strategic business decisions.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to drive continuous process improvements and cost savings.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
- Oversee statutory reporting, tax filings, and compliance with all relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with BOI privileges and Transfer Pricing regulations.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to maintain the company's financial health.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and optimize treasury operations.
- Manage foreign exchange exposure in accordance with the Group's treasury and hedging policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic finance business partner to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
- Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance insights to support revenue growth and profitability.
- Develop and monitor KPIs that support informed business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS)
- Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, and Transfer Pricing
- BOI regulations
- Cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing finance
- Treasury, cash flow management, and foreign exchange risk management
- Internal controls, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools.
