Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position in Bangkok for the Head of Financial Controller (Group Level). The role involves overseeing financial operations, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and developing strategic financial plans. The Head of Financial Controller will analyze financial data to support decision-making, manage reporting processes, and lead the accounting team to maintain operational excellence and financial integrity.

Key Qualifications

1. Education & Professional Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields

Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA)

Minimum 1015 years of experience in finance/accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

Experience in group-level financial management / holding company structure is highly preferred

Background in listed company (SET) or multinational environment will be an advantage

2. Technical Competencies

Strong expertise in:

Financial reporting & consolidation (multi-entities / cross-border)

Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (FP&A)

Treasury management (cash flow, liquidity, FX risk, hedging)

Investment analysis (CAPEX, M&A, JV, IRR/NPV evaluation)

Deep understanding of:

Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and IFRS

Taxation, BOI/FTA implications, and regulatory compliance

Experience in implementing financial systems / ERP / internal control frameworks

3. Strategic & Leadership Capabilities

Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights for executives and board members

Strong leadership in managing multi-functional finance teams across subsidiaries

Proven track record in driving financial discipline, cost optimization, and profitability improvement

Experience supporting board-level decision making, investment committees, or audit committees

4. Treasury & Investment Oversight

Ability to manage group-wide cash pooling, funding strategy, and capital structure

Experience in fundraising, banking relationships, and financial institutions negotiation

Strong capability in evaluating and monitoring:

New investments

M&A opportunities

Post-investment performance tracking

5. Governance & Risk Management

High level of integrity, professionalism, and strong sense of fiduciary responsibility

Experience in:

Internal control systems (IC)

Risk management frameworks

Related party transactions governance

Ability to ensure compliance with SEC/SET regulations and corporate governance standards

6. Communication & Personality

Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) able to communicate effectively with international partners, auditors, and investors

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure

Confident in presenting to C-level executives and Board of Directors

7. Preferred Attributes

Experience in manufacturing / industrial / packaging business

Exposure to regional operations (ASEAN / China / global supply chain)

Familiarity with digital finance transformation / data analytics tools
