Why This Role Matters:
This role ensures the smooth and complaint execution of international remittance operations, which are essential to the banks global services. By leading a specialized team, managing SWIFT transactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance, you play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing risk, and supporting customer trust in cross-border banking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remittance Operations: Oversee daily processing of inward/outward remittances, foreign currency deposits (FCD), and Non-Resident Thai Baht accounts.
- SWIFT & System Management: Manage SWIFT transactions, resolve system issues, support upgrades, and maintain data integrity.
- Compliance & Risk Control: Ensure compliance with Bank of Thailand (BOT), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and other regulatory requirements; conduct audits and manage risks.
- Stakeholder & Customer Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments and external partners; handle customer inquiries and resolve remittance-related issues.
- Reporting & Process Improvement: Prepare reports, perform reconciliations, and use data analytics to enhance efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the team to ensure strong performance and continuous improvement.
Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in foreign remittance or international banking, including managing Non-Resident Thai Baht accounts and Trade Finance settlement, which is considered a plus.
- Strong knowledge of BOT regulations, AML requirements, and SWIFT protocols, along with proficiency in remittance systems, digital tools, and data analysis.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication skill, especially in English.
