As part of its continued growth and commitment to strong governance, the Group is seeking an accomplished Head of Group Enterprise Risk Management & Compliance to lead and strengthen its enterprise-wide risk and compliance agenda.

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior leadership, you will provide strategic oversight of the Group's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Compliance functions, serving as a trusted advisor to the Board and business leaders on risk, governance, and regulatory matters that enable sustainable business growth.

You will be responsible for continuously enhancing the Group's Enterprise Risk Management framework, strengthening governance and internal controls, and ensuring the organisation maintains a robust compliance culture across its diverse businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and continuous enhancement of the Group's Enterprise Risk Management framework, policies, and governance practices.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, operational, financial, and emerging risks.
  • Provide risk insights to support strategic decision-making, business expansion, investments, and transformation initiatives.
  • Strengthen enterprise-wide internal control frameworks and cultivate a proactive risk-aware culture across the organisation.
  • Lead enterprise risk assessments and oversee the monitoring of key risk indicators, mitigation plans, and reporting to senior management and the Board.
  • Advise the organisation on emerging risks, including technology, cybersecurity, digital transformation, sustainability, ESG, and geopolitical developments.
  • Establish, review, and oversee the Group's compliance policies, frameworks, and procedures to ensure they remain effective and fit for purpose.
  • Ensure the organisation complies with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies across its operating jurisdictions.
  • Foster a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and regulatory compliance through effective policies, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators, external advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective governance and compliance practices.

The Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced leader with proven track record of developing enterprise-wide risk and compliance programmes within a large, complex organisation.

You will possess:

  • A recognised degree with at least 15 years of post-graduation experience, including significant leadership experience in Enterprise Risk Management and/or Compliance.
  • Proven success leading enterprise risk management within a sizeable multinational or diversified corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, corporate governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance governance requirements while supporting business growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage senior executives, Board members, regulators, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and strategic thinking capabilities.
