Head of Legal & Compliance APAC

The BU seeks a Head of Legal, Compliance and Risk Management to act as the single point of contact with the Group Legal Department, lead legal activities for the BU, coordinate with HQ, and animate the local legal network across countries.

SEA Asia scope (local): Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia and, soon, Vietnam. The role directly handles legal and compliance matters in these countries.

BU scope: SEA, India and China.

The role coordinates and supervises legal and compliance matters in India and China.

Legal & Compliance Role (SEA)

• Draft and review contracts (labor, purchasing, sales) and manage contract filing/reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments across SEA (e.g., BOI, FBA, labor, DOA).
• Oversee IP registration and protection.

Regional Coordination & HQ Interface

• Act as single point of contact with Legal HQ (legal, compliance, insurance, regulatory).
• Provide SEA reporting, support global insurance rollout, and coordinate audits.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional and management projects.
• Contribute to CSR and prepare annual compliance report.

Profile Requirements

• Master's in Business Law preferred; Thai national with strong English.
• 10+ years legal/compliance experience.
• Pragmatic, business-oriented, strong communicator; aligned with company values.
• approximately 20% travel.
