Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangkok for a Head of Legal Compliance. The individual in this role will oversee and ensure regulatory and legal compliance within the company and manage due diligence. They will provide legal advice, create and implement compliance programs, and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure operations align with legal requirements. Monitoring regulatory developments and risks will also be a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in compliance management, regulatory frameworks, and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and related compliance policies.
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee compliance teams and initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management competencies, including collaboration with regulatory agencies.
• Proficiency in financial services regulations, particularly in the context of currency exchange and global remittance services.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment and address emerging compliance challenges.
• Fluency in English and Thai; understanding of legal and financial terminology is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of local and international financial regulations.
