Job Description
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to support business objectives across the ASEAN region.
- Oversee operations, including inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between logistics and other departments.
- Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to logistics and supply chain management.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team to enhance productivity and professional growth.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts to optimise costs.
- Drive cost efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the logistics function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Logistics, ASEAN should have:
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage warehouse cost structures, cash flow, and service levels, leveraging data analytics to drive operational decisions and deliver measurable cost efficiencies.
- Skilled in supplier management, including competitive bidding, contract negotiation, and building effective longterm vendor partnerships.
- Extensive leadership experience overseeing largescale warehouse operations and managing 3PL performance across warehousing and transportation.
- Proven involvement in global collaboration initiatives and transformation projects.
- Fluent command of English, both spoken and written.
