Position: Head of Ocean Freight
Location: G Tower, Rama 9, Bangkok
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, manage and grow daily operations in the Ocean Freight to ensure compliance with company standards and policies as well as company strategy, optimizing resources and maximizing profitability.
- Monitor and drive Ocean Freight team performance to achieve IKOs/KPIs and operational excellence.
- Review and report Ocean Freight operational results, and challenges to management team.
- Identify issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Besides acting as a coach but also join with the Commercial team on their meeting with customers for the thorough understanding, on the performances and requirements based on customers expectation.
- Manage FTE against actual jobs file to ensure productivity and profitability.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or Ocean Freight operations, with at least 5 experiences with a proven track record in people management role
- Strong knowledge of Import/Export processes, and operational compliance.
- Ability to represent the team at senior management level and work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
- Minimum 3 years Customer Relationship Management background
- Relevant experience in Sales and business development
- Proficient decision-making skills
