Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Maintenance Leadership
- Lead site engineering, maintenance, and utilities teams to ensure high equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
- Define and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve OEE and asset lifespan.
- Establish strong engineering governance, standards, and technical discipline across the site.
Capital Projects & Technical Delivery
- Own end-to-end CAPEX project management, from concept design through execution and commissioning.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with regional/global engineering teams on major investments and technology upgrades.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Act as a key leader in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and global EHS standards.
- Ensure engineering systems and equipment comply with food safety, GMP, and hygiene design requirements.
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering and facility compliance.
People & Capability Development
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing engineering and maintenance teams.
- Drive succession planning, technical skill development, and engagement within the function.
- Foster a collaborative, problem-solving culture across engineering and operations.
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, energy usage, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to long-term site master planning, capacity expansion, and sustainability initiatives.
- Use data, KPIs, and insights to support informed decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).
- Minimum 15 years of engineering experience within food, FMCG, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams at a senior level.
- Strong track record in CAPEX project management, maintenance excellence, and asset reliability.
- Solid understanding of food safety, GMP, EHS, and regulatory compliance.
- Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
