Head of Process Development (R&D)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver technical R&D Process development, specification, and qualification on projects meeting business requirements
• Manage pilot plant to deliver R&D and business requirements
• Lead assigned projects as technical project leader, and deliver product and process requirements in line with the project brief
• Ensure documentation related to R&D Process project and other activity is always correctly maintained
• Build and lead an effective R&D Process development team
• Input and provide technical Process consultancy support to business strategy and development planning with senior management and functional partners
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Over 10-15 years in process development in FMCG or F&B business, including beverages
• 7+ years in project management work in FMCG or F&B business
• 2+ years in managerial position with subordinate line management experience
• Excellent leadership skills (team development and direction, and stakeholder influencing)
• Can work effectively in a high-pressure environment (project complexity and tight deadlines)
• Can work successfully with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple functions
• Excellent technical and project troubleshooting skills
• Expertise including process design and control, and equipment selection, for:
• Thermal processes
• Mixing processes
• Filling processes
• Hygienic design
• Up-to-date on external processing and equipment innovation
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
