Lead high-level design of system solution, architecture and infrastructure to fulfill business requirement.
Lead team to collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and gather solid requirements via workshop, interview - with suggestion on best practices of relevant technology.
Provide consultation on workflow process, specifically on hire purchase and leasing business, to digitize and streamline end-to-end credit process and drive continuous improvement of system and process flow with the latest features and functionalities.
Perform the following activities and update to management: system monitoring, system configuration, data migration, development, testing and training, deployment and support and issue troubleshooting.
Lead process of vendor sourcing, bidding, evaluation and selection.
Ensure seamless connectivity of API interface in the platform provided by internal team and third party – connecting to mobile application, web application and internal legacy systems.
Plan on team resource and budgeting to debottleneck day-to-day system issue to ensure highest standard of system stability.
Collaborate in relevant project(s), and act as key member to drive them to meet timeline and objective.
Lead and work on key projects as per assigned by top management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 12 years of practical professional background under software inhouse operation management, infrastructure design, system solution design and project implementation
At least 5 years of experience in financial industry, specifically lending and hire purchase business
Robust experience in software development life cycle methodologies, solution architecture and design thinking.
Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, or other database technologies.
Strong knowledge of the business model of retail credit products, process and service
Direct working experience in start-up environment, financial service industry or Fintech company would be a strong plus
