Position: Head of Product Strategy (Regional)
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Reports to: Regional CEO / Strategy Director
Role Purpose
The Head of Product Strategy (Regional) will lead the Regional Product Planning Organization, responsible for defining and executing product portfolio strategies across regional markets. This role ensures alignment of product offerings with market needs, competitive positioning, and company objectives through robust planning, forecasting, and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio Management:

  • Develop and manage the regional product portfolio strategy for all markets within the region.
  • Ensure alignment with global product roadmap and regional market requirements.

Volume Forecasting & Planning:

  • Lead volume forecasting processes to support business planning and production allocation.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust forecasts accordingly.
    Product & Pricing Strategy:
  • Define product positioning and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to ensure pricing aligns with market dynamics and company goals.
    Market Research & Competitor Intelligence:
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis, consumer insights, and competitor benchmarking.
    • Identify emerging trends and recommend strategic actions to maintain market leadership.
    Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution of product strategies.
  • Act as the regional voice in global product planning discussions.
    Performance Monitoring:
  • Track product performance against KPIs and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.

    Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 15+ years experience in Automotive Product Planning/Strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of regional automotive markets, consumer behavior, and regulatory environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement product and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent in English; regional language skills are a plus.
