Opportunity for a Head of Quality to join a well-established, international manufacturing business operating in the engineered products sector.
This is a critical leadership role, responsible for overseeing the quality function across four manufacturing plants and leading a team of 40+ quality professionals.
The Opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with global stakeholders, you will take full ownership of quality across multiple sites—driving strategy, consistency, and continuous improvement from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to production and customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall Quality function across the manufacturing plants
- Drive quality strategy, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives across all sites
- Ensure full compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g. ISO)
- Oversee quality across the full product lifecycle, including NPI and production
- Manage customer quality issues, audits, and corrective/preventive actions
- Standardise processes and ensure alignment across all sites and with global teams
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve product and process quality
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 40+ quality professionals (Engineers, Supervisors, Inspectors)
- Strengthen quality capability, culture, and accountability across the organisation
- Provide clear reporting and insights on quality performance to senior leadership.
About You
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
- 10+ years experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working within a multinational company environment
- Proven track record leading large teams and managing multi-site operations
- Deep understanding of quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across functions and cultures
- Good command of English, with experience working with international stakeholders.
