Job Title: Head of Retail Operations

Position Summary:
The Head of Retail Operations is responsible for leading the daily operations of cannabis retail stores and managing their strategic transformation into compliant medical cannabis clinics across Thailand.
The role focuses on driving commercial performance, ensuring operational excellence, delivering an outstanding customer/patient experience, and ensuring compliance with Thai cannabis and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations of all retail and clinic locations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets across all stores and clinics.
- Drive improvement in key commercial metrics such as average receipt per customer, conversion rate, and inventory turnover.
- Oversee operational workflows to ensure smooth, standardized processes across all branches.
- Lead the transformation of retail stores into fully compliant medical cannabis clinics.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring a patient-first approach.
- Analyze performance metrics and take corrective action to optimize results.
- Build and manage cross-functional teams across retail, clinical, and operational functions.
- Ensure full compliance with Thai laws related to cannabis retail, medical operations, and patient care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Proven experience in pharmaceuticals, food retail, or consumer electronics, with hands-on operational and sales leadership.
- Strong background in active/direct sales, with a record of delivering results in KPIs such as conversion rate, average receipt size, and customer retention.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans that align with business goals and regulatory constraints.
- Experience managing inventory turnover and optimizing supply chain processes.
- Progression from front-line roles (e.g., Sales Associate, Store Manager) to senior leadership (e.g., Regional Manager, Operations Director).
- Experience working in structured, KPI-driven environments with a focus on smooth operations and scalable systems.
- In-depth knowledge of (or ability to quickly master) Thai cannabis and medical regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, operational management, and cross-functional team-building skills and excellent English communication skills.
- Domestic travel occasionally required.
- Legally authorized to work in Thailand without visa sponsorship.
