Job Description

We're Hiring: Head of Retail Foodservice Development. Are you a visionary culinary leader with experience in large-scale food production, retail foodservice innovation, and project development Join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of foodservice across multiple retail formats.

About the Role

As the Head of Retail Foodservice Development, you will work closely with the Corporate Chef to drive the development of innovative foodservice concepts and establish a state-of-the-art centralized kitchen facility. This strategic leadership role will focus on concept creation, operational excellence, business model development, and cross-functional collaboration to support growth across our retail foodservice portfolio.

Responsibilities

Centralized Kitchen Development

  • Lead the planning and development of a new centralized kitchen facility
  • Develop project proposals, budgets, timelines, and implementation plans
  • Evaluate and manage kitchen design, construction, and technology partners
  • Identify and implement operational and system requirements
  • Oversee project execution and stakeholder coordination

Retail Foodservice Concept Development

  • Partner with the Corporate Chef to create and launch innovative foodservice concepts
  • Develop business cases, project plans, and operational frameworks
  • Manage cross-functional teams and external vendors throughout project lifecycles
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives

Systems & Business Development

  • Design scalable operating models, organizational structures, and SOPs
  • Develop profitability, investment, and purchasing frameworks
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, IT, and Project teams to optimize performance
  • Stay current on industry trends, centralized kitchen operations, and foodservice best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or a related field
  • 7+ years of professional culinary experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role
  • Strong expertise in foodservice operations, large-scale food production, and concept development
  • Proven project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, profitability, and operational planning
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities
  • Passion for innovation, quality, and delivering exceptional food experiences
  • Good command in English communication and able to travel up country when required.
