Job Description
- Lead the oversight of all risk domains, including investment, enterprise, operational, IT, and auditrelated risks.
- Implement and maintain the group's risk framework, ensuring effective secondline oversight.
- Define and enhance risk reporting requirements, thresholds, and prioritization methodologies.
- Deliver regular risk updates and insights to governing bodies, including risk committees and boards.
- Establish and maintain compliance policies aligned with group standards.
- Oversee the execution of the annual compliance monitoring plan.
- Manage the company's AML and antibribery & corruption frameworks.
- Promote strong governance principles and embed compliance culture across the organization.
- Provide direction for legal affairs and corporate secretarial activities.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are monitored, interpreted, and properly implemented.
- Lead, coach, and develop a multifunctional team to achieve performance and delivery goals.
- Collaborate across business units to support strategic initiatives aligned with company vision.
- Act as a senior advisor to executives on governance, risk, and compliance matters.
- Strengthen organizational resilience through proactive identification and mitigation of emerging risks.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Risk, Compliance and Legal should have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Risk, Law, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields.
- Professional credentials such as CFA, FRM, or a Fund Manager license are advantageous.
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in risk, compliance, or legal roles within the financial industry, including at least 5 years in leadership.
- Strong analytical capability with proven ability to work with diverse senior stakeholders.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and strong business acumen.
