Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue growth, market share, and profitability targets
  • Lead and manage the national distributor and dealer network, ensuring strong performance, coverage, and partner engagement
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and market expansion initiatives
  • Build and expand a high-performing sales organization, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Monitor and deliver sales forecasts, pipeline management, and KPI tracking to ensure business objectives are met
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and strategic accounts
  • Collaborate and align with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, aftersales) to ensure seamless operations and customer experience
  • Analyze and act on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Drive operational excellence in channel execution, including pricing, promotions, and inventory alignment
  • Champion and ensure brand standards, customer satisfaction, and long-term partner success across the network

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Sales (New EV Brand) should have:

  • Bring 10-15+ years of experience in automotive, mobility, or related industries, with strong exposure to channel/distributor sales models
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding dealer networks, and delivering commercial targets at scale
  • Possess strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable sales plans and execution
  • Exhibit excellent leadership capabilities, with experience in building, managing, and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Showcase deep understanding of dealer/distributor management, go-to-market strategies, and partner engagement
  • Display strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Leverage data and market insights to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
  • Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, ideally with exposure to EV, new energy, or emerging technologies
  • Communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset across cross-functional teams
  • Bring a results-driven, hands-on approach with a passion for innovation and the future of mobility
