About the Company

Our client is one of the top 3 media companies in Thailand with a long history in news publishing. It operates one of the country's major Thailanguage news platforms with a good reach across both print and digital formats, offering news, features and other content to a broad domestic audience.

The business has a significant daily readership and plays a prominent role in the local media landscape.

Role Overview

They're looking for a sales lead to build and drive revenue growth across advertising products. You'll lead a team of sales/business development professionals, shape sales strategy, manage key accounts, and work closely with editorial and product teams to ensure commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Sales Management

  • Drive online media sales including Display Ads, Branded Content, Social Media, and Influencer Marketing to meet company targets
  • Set revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Analyze competitors, digital media trends, and consumer behavior to keep sales packages updated and competitive
  • Define rate cards and appropriate discount structures

Team and People Management

  • Coach and develop the Sales and Account Executive teams to ensure strong product and organizational understanding
  • Possess strong high-level negotiation skills

Business Partnership Development

  • Personally manage top-tier clients and major media agencies

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Content and Production teams to design solutions that meet client needs while maintaining the organization's DNA
  • Coordinate with the Ad Operations team to review post-campaign reports and use data insights to improve future sales efforts

Qualifications

  • At least 7 to 10 years of experience in media sales or a digital agency environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of the online advertising ecosystem including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, SEO, and SEM
  • Established relationships with media agencies and corporate brand clients
  • Strong pitching and presentation skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Able to interpret performance metrics such as Reach, Engagement, CPV, and CTR, and translate them into clear commercial value for clients
