We are pleased to be partnering a fast-growing Medical Technology client who specialises in bringing high-quality, affordable solutions across emerging markets across Southeast Asia. As they continue to scale their Thailand operations, they are seeking a Head of Sales/Commercial Lead(circa. up to USD70k per annum) to take full ownership of the commercial strategy and execution for the Thai market. This is a high-impact, senior role with full P&L responsibility for Thailand.
What you will do:
- Own and deliver the full Thailand commercial plan – setting ambitious yet realistic revenue targets across the different portfolios.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team while expanding presence in both private hospitals and key public/tender accounts in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and upcountry regions.
- Develop and execute market access strategies, including KOL engagement, tender management, distributor partnerships, and new hospital account acquisition.
- Drive demand generation through clinical workshops, product training, and strong value-based selling
- Oversee pricing, forecasting, inventory planning, and profitability to meet or exceed annual business objectives.
- Act as the senior company representative in Thailand – building long-term relationships with hospital decision-makers, procurement teams, and clinical leaders.
- Provide regular strategic insights and market intelligence back to regional headquarters.
What you bring:
- Good years of progressive medical device sales experience in Thailand, with substantial stints in a senior commercial leadership role
- Proven track record of consistently delivering revenue growth
- Strong existing network and credibility with Thai hospitals, general surgeons and specialists
- Deep understanding of the Thai healthcare landscape – private sector, government tenders, reimbursement, and procurement processes.
- Demonstrated success in building, coaching, and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, business development, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Thai and English; strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Life Sciences, or related field); MBA is a plus.
