Head of Secured Lending Product (Mortgage Loan)
Role summary
We are looking for a forward-thinking leader to drive our mortgage loan business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building strategies and shaping customer-centric products. As a Head of Secured Lending Product, you will own the end-to-end product Lifecyle from design and development to portfolio management and growth.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead product strategy & growth: Define and execute the roadmap for the home loan business, balancing innovation with risk management.
- Own the P&L: Drive business performance, profitability, and sustainable growth of the secured lending portfolio.
- Leverage data & insights:Apply critical thinking and analytics to identify opportunities, optimize pricing, and manage portfolio health.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with sales, risk, operations, underwriting and marketing teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Lead & inspire the team: Manage, coach, and develop product managers to reach their full potential.
- Stay ahead of the market:Keep an eye on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor&aposs degree or higher in Business administration, Finance, Economics or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, business development or a similar role within the financial services or lending industry.
- Direct experience of retail loan products from banks or any financial institutions is preferred.
- Data-savvy, with experience in P&L management, pricing strategy, and customer journey design.
- Strong people manager with skills at influencing and working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English.
