Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of SEO based in Bangkok City, Thailand. At Convert Cake, we define SEO as Search Everywhere Optimization, therefore we will cover strategies in AI and other platforms like TikTok as well. The Head of SEO will oversee and manage SEO and AI search campaigns, conduct thorough keyword research, analyze web and search data, and develop methods to drive organic conversions. This role will work closely with the marketing team to integrate SEO efforts with broader marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SEO Projects: Develop, execute, and manage SEO campaigns that deliver results. We're looking for someone who can take charge of the entire process, from strategy to implementation.
- Lead a team: The buck stops with you. You handle things from client pitches to training the team.
- Project Strategy and Pitching: Create effective SEO strategies, develop proposals, and pitch them effectively to clients.
- Owner's Mindset: Treat each project as if it were your own, focusing on optimizing for high-value keywords that align with the client's objectives and delivering the best possible results.
- Technical SEO: Work on on-page and technical SEO, including making changes on WordPress, editing schemas, improving page speed, and managing multilingual sites.
- Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis to guide optimization efforts and provide meaningful performance reports to clients.
- SEO Trends: Stay updated about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to your campaigns.
- Tools Usage: Utilize and integrate various SEO tools, including AI, to enhance results.

- SEO Tools Proficiency: Expert in GA, Search Console, Ahrefs (or equivalent).
- Conversion Optimization: Optimize for conversions not just traffic (CRO, conversion tracking, etc.)

- Systems thinker: Can organize process flows and systemize work for the team

- Skills: Tracking capabilities and/or WordPress or web development experience.
- Bilingual (Thai & English): Fluent in both languages is a plus!
- Experience in a leadership role in SEO is a plus
