Job Description

Job Summary:

Lead and manage the end-to-end sourcing and procurement function to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and value-driven procurement practices. The role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving procurement governance, and supporting business objectives through strategic sourcing and contract management across the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management (35%)

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across key spend categories to optimize cost, quality, service, and risk.
  • Lead competitive tendering, RFP, RFQ, and supplier evaluation processes.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process efficiencies, and value creation.
  • Partner with business units to align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier developments to support informed procurement decisions.

2. Supplier Relationship & Contract Management (25%)

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations to achieve favorable pricing and contract terms.
  • Oversee supplier performance management and service level monitoring.
  • Ensure contracts are appropriately reviewed, approved, executed, and maintained.
  • Drive corrective actions and supplier improvement initiatives where required.

3. Procurement Governance, Risk & Compliance (20%)

  • Ensure adherence to Group Procurement Policies, local regulations, and internal governance standards.
  • Maintain robust procurement controls and documentation supporting audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee supplier due diligence and third-party risk assessments.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessments.
  • Promote ethical procurement practices and transparency across the procurement lifecycle.

4. Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership (15%)

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on procurement and sourcing matters.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Business Functions to deliver procurement solutions.
  • Support strategic projects, transformation initiatives, and vendor-related change programs.
  • Provide procurement insights and recommendations to senior management.

5. Team Leadership & Capability Development (5%)

  • Lead, coach, and develop sourcing team members to ensure strong performance and succession planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and systems.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer service.

Additional Responsibility

  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and other business requirements.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Law, or related discipline.
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain experience.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role managing procurement teams and strategic sourcing activities.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or highly regulated industries is preferred.
  • Proven track record in sourcing strategy development, contract negotiations, and supplier management.

Special Skills

  • Strong commercial negotiation, supplier management, and influencing skills.
  • Deep understanding of procurement governance, third-party risk management, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in procurement transformation, process redesign, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Knowledge of digital procurement platforms, e-Sourcing, vendor management systems, and procurement analytics.
  • Proficiency in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI (GenAI), and Agentic AI solutions to improve procurement effectiveness, automate workflows, enhance supplier insights, and support data-driven decision making.
  • Experience identifying, developing, and implementing AI-enabled process improvements to drive operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance user experience.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies, automation, robotics process automation (RPA), intelligent workflows, and digital transformation methodologies.
  • Strong project management and change management capabilities with the ability to lead technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and data visualization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai.
