Role Summary
The Head of Strategic Trade Planning is responsible for leading enterprise-wide trade strategy at the corporate level. The role focuses on establishing clear trade frameworks, ensuring consistent execution across the organization, and utilizing data-driven analysis to support effective trade investment, sustainable growth, and margin optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead corporate trade strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Establish trade investment frameworks, including pricing, promotion, and trade mechanics across all formats.
- Ensure consistent trade execution through corporate guidelines and performance KPIs.
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to support trade budget planning, monitoring, and performance evaluation.
- Analyze sales, margin, promotion, and productivity data to generate insights and recommendations.
- Develop trade performance reports and dashboards to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in large-scale retail, hypermarket, or FMCG environments.
- Strong experience in Corporate Trade Planning, Commercial Strategy, or Trade Analytics.
- Proven senior leadership capability with strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Strategic, structured, and data-oriented mindset.
